The game developed with a thrilling twist of Blockchain and cryptocurrency allows players to own digital assets which they can spend on exiting stuff that facilitate the game?s fantasy economy.

Blockchain obsession

The company has scheduled the game?s official release in summer next year. The EOS network that underpins the fantasy game is quickly gaining prominence among developers and investors. In November, Mythical Games, an EOS-based gaming platform received a $16 million Seria A investment to develop mobile and PC games.

Notable Blockchain investors are increasingly warming to the idea of leveraging Blockchain solution in fantasy games particularly through the EOS network. Galaxy Digital boss and cryptocurrency billionaire Michael Novogratz contributed a huge chunk of the $325million investment made towards the development of an EOS platform.

A number of developers are actively creating cutting-edge fantasy games on Blockchain network. Chainbreakers is one among these games. The Virtual Reality (VR) game built on Ethereum?s Blockchain platform is based on events that happened in Ancient Greece.

Futuristic investors are seeing big potential in the sector and are betting big money that their visions are transmuted to reality. Waves Platform for example, has announced a reward of $2 million for developers who would build games on their Blockchain-powered platform. As the company?s CEO Sasha Ivanov puts it, ?I believe that the gaming sector will be an enthusiastic adopter of blockchain, and will drive its widespread use. Given the mutual opportunity here, we are more than ready to reward developers for the effort they make in implementing their projects within [the] Waves ecosystem.?
